Switching to a different tutor
If the fit isn’t right, you can choose someone else. There’s no approval step.
When to switch
Give it two or three lessons — first lessons are often awkward. But if your child dreads the sessions, or explanations consistently don’t land, the tutor isn’t the right one.
How
- Search for a new tutor for that learner.
- Book a trial, where the new tutor offers one.
- Cancel or let the remaining lessons with the previous tutor finish, following the terms shown at booking.
It isn’t a failure
Teaching is a relationship. Some don’t take, and that says nothing about your child.
