By accessing or using Mentoryn (“the platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mentoryn, operated by the Mentoryn team (United States).
You may not create an account using another person's identity or impersonate any individual.
Paid subscriptions are not currently active. Mentoryn is currently in early access, and all core features are available without charge.
When billing is introduced, separate subscription terms will be presented to you before any charge is made. You will be notified in advance of any transition to paid features, and you will always have the opportunity to review pricing and terms before committing.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform — including voice submissions, messages, and written notes.
By submitting content, you grant Mentoryn a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process that content solely as necessary to operate the platform and provide the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.
The Mentoryn platform, its design, branding, and logo are the intellectual property of Mentoryn.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Mentoryn platform without express written permission.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@mentoryn.com.
We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms. Grounds include, but are not limited to: fraud, abuse, impersonation, harassment, or illegal activity. Where appropriate, we will notify you before taking action.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Mentoryn does not endorse or guarantee the opinions of individual tutors. Each tutor teaches within their own school of thought (madhab). We encourage students to discuss any theological questions directly with their tutor.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable United States law, Mentoryn and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the total amount you paid to Mentoryn in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, if any.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the United States.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
