How timezones are handled
You set hours in your timezone. Learners see them in theirs. Neither of you does the conversion.
What this means for you
A slot you open at 6pm your time appears to a learner at whatever 6pm-your-time is for them. The time you both see for a confirmed lesson is the same moment.
Worth remembering
- Your students may be in very different timezones
- Daylight-saving changes shift the local time learners see
- Confirm the date and time in a message if a lesson is near midnight for either of you
Availability is always shown to a learner in their local timezone, so no time-zone math is required on either side.
